Problem of the Rainforest

Farmers plant with ease
Miners dig
Oilers rig
Loggers think they help
but soon they will know.
At this rate
the rain forest will have to go.
Help let people know

Some creatures are gone.
Loggers wake at the break of dawn.
Loggers log on and on.
Acre by acre it will be gone.
Only then will it dawn that it is gone.

Miners search for gold.
Mercury makes plants look old.
Some plants shrivel and die.
Other plants slowly fry.
