His eyes are deep, dark pools.
They show no signs of what's beyond, in his mind.
They have seen me shout, scream, and cry.
They have seen frustration, and they have see victories.
His wings are strong iron bars.
They show signs of hard work.
They have carried him high and far away.
They have never let him down, they have never failed.
His talons are barbed wire.
They don't show how many times he has faithfully sat on his perch.
They have held tightly to me for so long.
They have stayed with me when I'm down.
My falcon is an influential king.
He shows how much he loves me.
He's seen good and bad.
He has flown away, but he always comes back...
