The Stock Market Crash

You've probably heard of
the stock market crash,
It made a lot of people lose all their
cash.
All of this happened in
happenend in 1929,
I'm glad my money wasn't in there,
Because it would no longer be mine.
Franklin Roosevelt took office in '33.
He gave a lot of hope to our struggling country,
And set a good example for people like you and me.
Families would gather, including their cats,
And sit by the radio to hear his fireside chats.
He talked a lot about the need for hope,
And people found they could better cope.
People trusted our new president and put their money back in banks,
This helped the economy crank! crank! crank!
