Ohio and The Mountain Monster

One-day young Ohio was very happy because any day now he would be thirteen. That night there would be a big fire and the whole village would come out and see Ohio on his first adventure.
But before the fire there
would have to be a night with no noise and that same night they
would have the fire. Then the great night came and it was all
quiet. The fire was lit and all people of the village started
to dance around in circles. Then Ohio came out and he was well
respected because it was his night. The chief and the elders of
the village got to smoke the sacred plant of tobacco.
Then they gave Ohio his
first assignment. He was to go on top of the fourth mountain and
there he would find the Mountain Monster. Ohio's job was to find
a way to push the monster off and into the river. Ohio stayed
up all night thinking how he was going to get that big monster
off that big mountain.So the next day, he headed off to find the
fourth mountain where the monster was. He walked four days, only
stopping for water and food. He came to his first problem which
was he had to get over the first mountain which was the smallest.
Ohio thought of an easy and 
simple
way to get over the mountain that was to go around it. At that
same time the monster heard news of Ohio coming and started to
laugh "HA HA NO KID CAN BEAT MEEEEEEEE!"
When he said that the third
mountain started to shake and then all of a sudden collapsed.
The Creator was so mad at the monster for breaking the mountain
down that he had to think of some way to punish him.
While the Creator was thinking, Ohio had made it to the third
mountain. When he saw it all crumbled he thought that, that was
what the monster had done to the last person whom came here.Then,
at that same time, the Creator thought of a way that he could
punish the monster for what he did.
What he thought of was that he would shrink the big scary monster into a small little cat that had the same mean sharp fangs and features and made them into a small and tiny version. So, Ohio climbed the mountain not knowing what was going to be at the top. When he got there, all he saw was a small, little cat that could not cause any one any trouble. He thought that to show the people how strong and powerful he was he would bring the cat back with him.So he walked back through the great tree and mountains, till he got back to his village. They were so stunned that the people wanted to make Ohio into the Chief, but he thought that, that might be a little much so he said in a very nice way " No thank you."
After that they let the monster back in the wild, and till this day the mountain monster is not a mountain monster but it is a mountain cat!
