Today in science, we made rivers. We got in groups and in my group, there was Matt, Zach, Adrienne, and me. In our river, we had a mud slide, a canyon, a dam, and a bridge. We made a young river, a middle age river, and an old river. Our group had a main river and a very big beach. We had lots of forks at first. But by the time, we got to the old river, all of the forks had gone into the bay. At the end, we got to play with the white stuff. I liked this project and had fun.By Kelsey P.
I am a baby snapping turtle who lives in a creeks which flows into a gigantic canyon. One night, it rained so much that our creek was flooded, for we were living on a floodplain. We moved to a nearby creek where there were a lot of mudslides. I like to slide down the big hills of mud. Then, two months later, it rained more than the last time, so I moved to a delta. It was a very nice place and I found an old tree that had roots shooting out above the water forming a nice shady home. That is where I am still living now.By Tatum R.
