| Title: The Hundred
Dresses |
| Author: Eleanor Estes |

| A Hundred Dresses is about
a girl, Wanda Petronski, who always wore the same faded blue dress. One of her classmates
comes to school with a brand new bright dress on. Everyone admires her new dress, but
Wanda only has one dress. Wanda shouts out, "I have 100 dresses!" Then all the
attention is set on Wanda. Wanda really doesn't have 100 dresses, though. What is she
going to do? But a contest is coming up to design the nicest looking dress. It turns out
Wanda won! She draws a hundred dresses on paper. But will she receive the awards? I liked A Hundred Dresses because it won an award, and the
main character in the book liked to draw dresses, and so do I.
