| Reviewer: Rachel M. '09 Jeff and Wiley are best friends who make up nicknames for everybody in their
sixth grade class. But a new girl comes to their school and they don't know what
nickname to make for her. The other problem is that some of the nicknames Wiley and
Jeff make up are backfiring and they have to save all the great nicknames they make up
before it is too late. I like this book a lot because it is funny most of the time.

make nicknames for children in their grade. A new girl comes into their class and at
first they can't find a name for her. They both start to like her and decide not to make a
nickname for her. One day the two boys go to her house and they help her move
bricks. They start carrying more and more ... 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 ... and then
finally they can't hold any more and the bricks fall. After that day both of them
start making plans to embarrass each other so that the girl will like just one of
them. The two boys ruin their friendship over a girl. I would recommend this
book to someone who likes reading books that are funny.

Allison S. '09 Wiley and Jeff are best friends who give the kids at their school
nicknames. When the new teacher, Mr. Hughes, becomes their English teacher,
they nickname him Mr. Huge. He is also a football coach. A girl
named Cassandra is a new student at their school, but she's different. No nickname
fits her. They both begin to like her and fight over her.
Wiley and Jeff have two major problems. They both
want Cassandra to ask them to the next dance. And if their class doesn't pass the
State Reading Assessment, Mr. Huges might be fired. Will Jeff and Wiley's friendship
end over a girl? Will Mr. Hughes, the teacher they love in a weird way, be fired for
not teaching his class? I recommend reading this book because it's funny all the way
through. It's a real page-turner and you won't want to put it down.

their school for nicknaming people. Almost everyone at the school has been nicknamed
by them. A new girl enters the class and Wiley and Jeff both have a crush on
her. Will she tear the two friends apart? Will they lose their bet with
Snoopy?
Read the book and find out what happens to Jeff and Wiley.
It's a funny book and a good book to read if you want some light reading.
