Title:  April and the Dragon Lady
Author:  Lensey Namioka
Reviewer:  Chelsea A. '11

This book is about a young girl named April whose grandmother starts acting very odd. April is also in the Rock Hounds club and is fascinated by rocks. So on one outing she and Steve Daniels find the same rock the become friends.  About a month later April's family finds out that something has happened to her grandmother and it changes their lives forever.  I would recommend this book to kids who like reading about how people live in other cultures and to people who like romantic and unpredictable books. I would rate this book a nine out of ten for all the twists and turns that go on. I would say that Leslie Namioka did a great job.
