The book is a kind of book that is really unfortunate, but if you knew anything about Lemony Snicket then this is a thing that you would already know.  The Austere Academy is a mix of running hundreds upon hundreds of laps around a big, glowing circle until sunrise, getting your silverware taken away if you do something wrong, a teacher who will not stop eating bananas, a teacher who says to measure things (like a pencil, a ribbon, etc.) 24/7, and an incredibly annoying vice principle.  So as you can see there is this and much more in the wondrous the book, The Austere Academy.

P.S. This book is really sad so if you don’t want to read it, then don’t!

Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire are sent to a boarding school. They are very unhappy.  They live in a horrible shack with fungus growing on the ceiling and little crabs on the floor that pinch them. They meet the Quagmire triplets who become their friends and want to make them happy.  Their principal promises that he will keep Count Olaf away, but does he stay true to his promise?

In the story Austere Academy the three orphans, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, find themselves in a boarding school that has a nasty principal, a bully, and a gym teacher who is actually a murderer in hiding! One good thing does happen...  the orphans find friends who help them with their troubles... but then the murderer kidnaps them! It is a great book, but read it for your self!

The Austere Academy is about three orphans named Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire and their experiences at school. Their parents had died in a fire and left a huge amount of money for the Baudelaire children to inherit when Violet is old enough.  The Baudelaire children are sent to Prufrock Preparatory Boarding School. When the Baudelaires get to school they find out that the vice principal is crazy.  The Baudelaires make new friends with the Quagmire triplets (the third died in a fire) and they are also orphans.  But Count Olaf is constantly following the Baudelaires to try to steal their fortune.

The book is a mystery book and is also funny.  It will grab your attention and leave you in suspense.  I recommend this book to boys and girls who like mystery and adventure.
