This series of
books by Dan Gutman are about twelve-year-old Joe Stoshack
and the time where he travels back to 1932. Joe uses a $10,000
Babe Ruth card to travel back to October 1, 1932 to visit
Game 3 of the World Series to see if the famed called shot
was to Charlie Root, the pitcher, or the bleachers of Wrigly
Field. According to the legend, Babe pointed to the bleachers
and hit it there.
Read Babe & Me to know what happens in Joe's
adventure back in time. I have read three out of the five
books in the series and I thought this was the second best.
I would rate this book a 7.5 out of a 10. the book was interesting
with a wonderful ending.

Joe Stoshack takes
another trip back in time to see Babe Ruth, however, this
time he is going with his dad. He and his dad are going to
see the fabulous Babe hit his "called shot." His
dad has the idea that he is going to catch "that"
ball. Can he and his dad do it? Read Babe and Me to find out
if they are successful.
I recommend this
book to mystery and sports readers because it is a remarkable
mystery book and a very good sports book!

This book is about
a boy named Joe Stoshack, who is an ordinary baseball fan
with a secret. Joe can travel through time with baseball cards.
All Joe has to do is hold the card in his hand, and say that
he wants to see a certain player. This time Joe travels back
in time to see Babe Ruth. Joe arrives in the year that Babe
plays in a World Series. This is also one of the years of
the Great Depression. Joe goes back in time with his dad,
and they get to spend time with the Babe. Joe and his Dad
get thrown out of the World Series game. But, Joe and his
Dad are still happy because they see the Babe. They even get
his autograph and eat dinner with him.
I recommend this
book to anyone who likes baseball, history, and adventure.
On a scale of one to ten I would give this book a “ten.”
