| This summer I also read a book about
African American boy named Mel who plays basketball. A white boy on his team whose
name is Casckie is a little racist. Caskie calls Mel names on the basketball court
and is very mean to Mel. I recommend this book because it teaches the reader about
racism and why it is bad. There is also action and suspense which make this book
