Title:  Black & White
Author:  David Macaulay
Reviewer:   Ben F.  '09

This book contains four very different stories, but in the end they all have something to do with each other:

Seeing Things
This story tells about a child who sees very odd things, especially things you do not see in everyday life.  For instance, he sees newspapers falling from the sky.

Trouble Parents
Some normal parents come home one day and parade dressed up in newspaper. The younger brother of a girl joins them, but the girl wants her old parents back!

A Waiting Game
A crowd of people wait for a train, but the train gets lost and  then it suddenly appears on the train tracks.

Udder Chaos
This story tells about a type of cow that runs away, but it will not come back unless it needs to be milked.

I recommend this picture book to people of all ages who enjoy stories that make no sense at all.
