Bridge of Birds is a
phenomenal book with a quick start, when a mysterious plague comes
over the children of the small, rural village of Kufu. When Yu Lu,
known as Number Ten Ox, sets off with Li Kao, a sage with a slight
flaw in his character, on a perilous quest to save Kufu's children by
obtaining the Great Root of Power, they get more than they bargained
for. As they pass through labyrinths, both physical and metaphorical,
they get involved with a mystery involving an old cult. A cult, with
a bridge of birds.I would
recommend this book to people who like a combination of comedy, drama,
suspense, mystery, fantasy, and a little more than a pinch of romance.
