Christa Macauliffe enters a contest for
teachers and the winner gets to go on a real space mission. She wins the
contest. On the day she is supposed to go into space, her flight is canceled because
of the cold weather. Then on the day it is rescheduled, it is still cold, but the
decision is made to take off anyway. There is a problem with the rings freezing on
the spaceship and something bad happens. This book is very interesting because it
gives a lot of facts and information about Christa Macauliffe's life and about the day the
Challenger lifts off.
