Sally and Emily are twins who go to Watch Mountain School where almost everyone is not Jewish, but they are. They are in a class with only one other Jewish boy, Simeon, who is very religious. One day during music they sing Christmas carols. Simeon refuses to sing them because he is Jewish. The next day Emily decides to join Simeon in his " Revolution." Emily loses all her friends and so does Sally because they're twins. One day the big Christmas tree in school mysteriously falls. Everybody thinks it's Simeon. Sally and Simeon try to find out who did it so they can clear Simeon's name. The rest is up to you to find out when you read the book!
