Coming Home
is the first book in the Heartland series. It is about a girl
named Amy who lives on a farm. She and her mom believe in
alternative treatments to cure horses of their mental and
physical problems. When Amy's mother is killed in a vehicle
accident, Amy has to hold on to everything she has and keep
on living. After being depressed for a very long time, can
Amy Flemming come to terms with her grief and continue doing
what she loves, working with injured and problem horses? Read
this book to find out.

Amy lives on a farm called Heartland with
her mother and grandfather. One day Amy and her friend
are riding on the road and they find an old barn with a horse
stuck inside. Amy finds her mom and they get the horse,
but on their way back home, something suddenly happens.
The next thing Amy knows, she's in a hospital with an unpleasant
and unexpected surprise! Will this sudden change destroy
her family or bring them closer together? I like this book
because it is suspenseful and you have to keep reading until
you get to the end. I would recommend this book to people
who like horses.
