A Different
Beat
is about a girl who goes to a performing arts school, and
has just gone through a tragedy in her town. Her name is Jessie,
and she has trouble dealing with an enemy that she just doesn't
understand. This book is really interesting because you feel
all of Jessie's emotions and when she finally gets in touch
with herself, she also gets more in touch with her father
and her enemy Cooper. A
Different Beat teaches you a lot about acting and self-esteem.
I love this book, although I love every book I read.
