| Russel lives in Alaska with his
father and when Russ wakes up one morning something is bothering him. His father tells him
to go the old wise man Oogruk. Russ goes to him and Oogruk teaches Russ to hunt and stuff
like that. After the training Oogruk gives Russ his sled to go up north tells him not to
come back for a year. In return Oogruk wants to see the ocean one more time. To find out
if they keep the deal read the book! The book is
pretty good but it is a little confusing. It has a lot to do with the outdoors so from a
scale from one to ten I would rate it a seven.
