Eragon is about a boy who one day goes to the Spine Forest and finds a hard rock. This rock turns out to be a dragon egg. Eragon becomes a Dragon Rider and goes on a quest to kill a group called the Ra'zac. Eragon runs into a ton of problems and people during his journey. Read Eragon to find out what these problems are and who these people are.

This is my favorite book. Even though it is 500 pages, the adventure kept me interested. If you like Harry Potter, then you'll love Eragon!

Eragon is a fictional story about a young boy who finds a dragon egg, and does great things with his dragon. Eragon soon finds out that he is a magical, young dragon rider. This story takes you on an
adventure like no other.

Eragon is the first in a three book series. I am anxiously awaiting for Eldest to come out in August of 2005.

Eragon is a good book because of all the details that the author uses. I especially enjoyed reading about the sword fighting. I liked reading a long chapter book. The author's writing style kept me interested in the story. Eragon, a sixteen year-old boy is taking revenge on the bounty hunters that killed his cousin.

Read Eragon to find out what it was that he was looking for and how he became a hero.

This book is about a farm boy named Eragon who finds a dragon egg (Which he thinks is a rock.).  Before he knows it he is running away from the Empire with his dragon named Saphiera.  Eragon and Saphiera have many adventures and meet many people.  Eragon even learns magic!

The sequel to this book is called Eldest .   I recommend this book to people who like very long books, and books that move fast.

Eragon lives on a farm in the land of Anaglesia ruled by an Empire with an immortal, evil King at its head. When hunting in an isolated mountain range called the Spine Eragon finds a blue stone, he thinks it might be valuable to sell so he keeps it. When he goes back to his village he cannot sell it because it comes from the Spine which is said to be evil. Later the stone hatches, and Eragon realizes it is an egg. Out pops a baby Dragon. The king's servants the Razac come after Eragon because the King does not want the Dragon Riders to be revived. The dragon riders Eragon knows kept peace in Anaglesia before the king, who was one of them, over threw the dragon riders. Eragon sets out with a storyteller named Brom to claim revenge for his uncle whom the Razac nearly killed. He meets the Varden who want to kill the king. The Varden fall under the attack of an army of Urgals.  Read the book to find out what happens next.

I would rate this book an outstanding *10* because of its use of a magic in an adventure.

This book is about a boy named Eragon, who finds a dragon egg in the Spine, a forest that has strange mishappenings. Caring and raising the dragon that hatches, that he names Saphira, he soon becomes a Rider. By being a Rider, he has to flee his hometown with Saphira and Brom, a storyteller when he finds out that the Shades will stop at nothing to find the egg that Saphira came out of because they are under Galbotrix's rule, the king of Alagaesia, who also was a former Rider himself. The Shades chase after him, and he and Brom must find ways to survive being captured. Eragon gets trained by Brom who knows how to duel and use magic, which Brom teaches Eragon how to do. Together they do their best to avoid the Empire which Galbotrix rules over. Along the way, he meets Murtagh, who will not reveal his past, so Eragon doesn't tell him his either.

Eragon also figures out what happens in Brom's past. Eragon goes all the way from Carvahall, his hometown to the Varden, the side against the Empire for the dragon eggs. Eragon also finds out that he will probably be the last of the Riders because they had fallen with Morswan, the first and last of the Forsworn, a group of Riders that followed Galbotrix and was considered traitors. During Eragon's quest of escaping the Urgals, the Shade, and the Ra' zac, who are all under Galbotrix's rule. He finds out that the only way to escape the Empire is to side with the Varden, which contain the dwarves. The elves made a deal with the Varden long ago about the Riders and the Varden and the elves have become pretty tight ever since the elves lost their dragon-egg carrier. Eragon starts his journey as a peasant, who lost his parents as a kid, but in the end, he becomes a strong Rider with many abilities.
