Bird, who has a crush on Harlem, has wanted to go to Disney World all of her life.  And Harlem is just the person who can help her.  When they both become partners in the school spelling bee, Bird finds out that Harlem is probably the best speller in the whole grade.  So they have a pretty good chance of winning.  When the day of the spelling bee arrives, they are both ready and prepared.  The prize for winning first place is a choice of three prizes out of twenty and a trip to Disney World!  All of the other prizes are just small ones.  Bird really wants the Disney World prize.  It is her dream to go there.  But what will really happen?
