| Lewis has an uncle who gives him
his grandfather's lucky penny. It brings Lewis anything but luck. The
coin is possessed by the ghost of a farmer named Elipahz. The lucky penny gives
Lewis strength, but strange things start to happen. Lewis fights the school bully
and wins. Then things start to go wrong. The ghost realizes Lewis is just a
boy and starts taking control of him. He tries to take Lewis back to his home. His
home no longer exists and Lewis could be killed. Will Rose Rita, a friend of Lewis,
find out in time to save him? Or will Lewis be drowned at the bottom of the well? Spring 2002 |
