You have probably heard of Star Wars, and know that the creator of Star Wars is George Lucas. But, do you know him up close and personal? Well, you can by reading this book. This book is packed with information and interesting facts on George Lucas. Did you know that Star Wars was first turned down by most every major film company, until 20th Century Fox reluctantly accepted it? Or, that Lucas flunked high school and had to go to Modesto Junior College. George’s dad owned L.M. Morris Stationers and wanted his son to work there. But, Lucas told him no, and promised he would be a millionaire by age 30. Lucas actually became a multi-millionaire by age 29 mostly because of his hit movies, American Graffiti and Star Wars. He owns three companies: Lucasfilm Ltd., Skywalker Sound, and Lucasarts Entertainment, all of which are among the best at what they do.
