Maya, Candace, Renée, Brianna, and Darcy are the popular girls in their grade. Candace is the most popular and picks the other girls by asking if they want to "do lunch."  One day Maya isn't invited to Darcy's birthday party and every other girl in her grade is.  As it turns out, it is Candace's idea.  All of the girls start disliking Maya. Maya has no idea what she has done to make them angry, and Brianna, Renée, and Darcy don't know why either.  Soon Brianna is accused of doing something to Renée when it doesn't even hurt Renée's feelings.  What will happen to Brianna and Maya?  Will it soon happen to Renée and Darcy?  Girls will enjoy reading this book to find out.
