In this fictional story the main characters, Sam and Jen, are assigned a history project to explore a ghost town called Nugget. The girls arrive in Nugget and find that a horse has been found dead. Both girls ride horses, and recently Jen's horse went missing so they are very interested in this mystery. Blood tests reveal that the horse died from arsenic poisoning. While researching their project, the girls are determined to find why this horse died, and what happens to Jen's horse. Read to find out how the girls solve these mysteries.

I would recommend this book to horse lovers who enjoy mysteries. This book is filled with a lot of suspense, and at times I could not put it down.
