Title:  Goodbye, Amanda the Good
Author:  Susan Shreve
Reviewer:  Lily C. '11

This book is great, one of the best books I have ever read. It is about a teenage girl who is always perfect with A+'s and never late for anything --- until seventh grade. She dyes her hair, wears black lipstick, and skips school. She has been asked to join the "Club". The Club is a group of girls with bad reputations for their behavior. Amanda has a new boyfriend, Slade, (well sort of). Fern, the Club leader, tells her bad things about him . She soon finds out that Fern is telling a lot of lies lately especially about Slade. What will Amanda do, join the club, hang out with Slade, or even go back to her old perfect self?  You will have to read to find out.
