Title:  Good Work, Amelia Bedelia
Author:  Peggy Parish
Illustrator:  Lynn Sweat
Reviewer:   Jackie G. '10

Amelia Bedelia is about a cleaner who works for the Rogers.  She is like any other person -- nice, kind, funny, but one thing about Amelia is that she takes everything very literally. For instance, to make a sponge cake she cuts sponges and puts them into the cake or to patch a screen door she sews patches on it.

I like this book because it is funny. I recommend this book to anyone who takes things very literally and likes funny books.
