Harry the Poisonous Centipede's Big Adventure by Lynne Reid Banks is a great book.  It is the sequel to the first book, Harry the Poisonous Centipede.  The book is about two centipedes that are best friends, Harry and George, and their big adventure.  In the book George is caught by humans so Harry goes out to save him.  While saving George Harry gets caught.  Luckily, the human's mother has a fit and the jars that they are in break.  They tried to get back to their tunnel but a bird scoops them up and drops them at the beach.  Marine centipedes find Harry and George and use them to kill the marine centipede's food.  Harry and George escape and finally get back to their tunnel.

 think anyone will like this book.  I don't think it matters if you are a boy or girl.
