This book is number 4 in the Harry Potter
series. In the book Harry competes in the Tri-Wizard
tournament with 4 other people. They have to complete 3
tasks to win the cup. The tasks are very difficult and dangerous. I
think this book is great because it is exciting and scary. I
recommend this book to anyone although it is a very long book.

Shelby H. '10This is the fourth Harry
Potter book in a soon to be, probably, long line of books. It takes
place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry Potter has
returned to school in his fourth year (makes sense doesn't it). He and
his friends are bummed out because there won't be any Quidditch this
year (a sport that Harry is very good at). Yes, they are bummed out,
until they find out what will be replacing Quidditch that year. It
will be a Triwizard Tournament! Three wizards (or witches) from three
different wizarding schools compete in three different very difficult
tasks. The champions will be given clues on what the tasks are, but
will not be told what they are.
The Goblet of Fire will choose the three
champions that will compete. The Goblet of Fire chooses three
contestants and starts to shake again and Harry's name shoots out!
Well, first of all he is to young and second of all they already have
a champion for Hogwarts. After a long meeting, Harry is allowed to
join the other three champions on their tasks. The first task is
around the corner faster than Harry would've liked. Then, a teacher
tells him that the first task is to get an egg from a dragon's
protected nest. With his friend's help, Harry cleverly uses his wand
to defeat the hardest dragon there is and gets the highest score. For
the second task, the champions are given a simple egg. When Harry
opens it, all he hears is a loud, horrible screech. He soon finds out
to open it under water and then hears a beautiful voice with a
disturbing riddle. He again completes the second task but the third
task is the hardest of all. There is a giant maze full of evil deadly
creatures. Harry gets to the end of the maze without knowing the true
danger right in front of him.
This book may be the longest one so far but,
take it from me, it is so worth it. I would recommend this book to
anyone who loves danger, pressure and suspense.

Dumbledore is the headmaster at Hogwarts. Harry's parents are killed by Voldemort, a very
evil wizard, so during the summer Harry lives with his muggle aunt and uncle who
despise him and everything about wizards. In this book Harry is mysteriously
chosen to compete in the Triwizard Tournament, a dangerous set of tasks to win honor for
one's school.
Harry can't enter himself in the tournament because
he is too young. And Dumbledore creates an age line for the tournament that prevents
anyone too young from entering it. If Harry doesn't put in his name, then who
does? Could it be someone who works for Voldemort who's trying to kill Harry? Find
out in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

| Reviewer: Michele M. 08 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is about a boy wizard named
Harry Potter, who is attending his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and
Wizardry. Once in a while there is a contest called the Triwizard Tournament which is held
at on of three schools: Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, or Durmstrang. This year it is being held
at Hogwarts. Students from each school are selected to be the champions in the Goblet of
Fire and Harry is surprised to find himself selected as one of the champions to represent
Hogwarts. But how could this be? Harry didnt enter his name in the Goblet of Fire.
Who did? Harry certainly isnt old enough. He is only 14 and you must be 17 to enter.
Harry is told that the Triwizard Tournament is dangerous, and that people have died
representing their schools.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by J.K. Rowling,
is the best Harry Potter book out of all four. If you want to know who put Harrys
name in the Goblet and if he can survive the Triwizard Tournament, read Harry Potter
and the Goblet of Fire, by J.K. Rowling to find out! |

| Reviewer: Meryl A. 08 This story is about a boy named Harry Potter. This is the fourth book in a
series of seven. The year before in the third book, Ron, Harrys friend says
hell try to get tickets to the Quidditch World Cup. Quidditch is Harrys
favorite sport and he plays it for part of his school. He is the seeker, his job is to
catch the snitch, a little golden ball with wings; and when the snitch is caught, the game
is over. The team whose seeker caught it gets 150 points and most likely wins the game.
Harry keeps having dreams about Voldemort (the dark lord) and wormtail plotting to kill
him. When Harry wakes up from his dream his scar hurts. Harry got his scar when he was a
baby from the love his mother had for him. When Voldemort tried to kill Harry his love his
mother had for him drained all the power out of Voldemort. Thats all I can tell you
now. If you want to find out more, read this book.

| Reviewer: Reed M. 08 This is a special year not only for Harry, but also for England. England
is hosting the International Quidditch cup and Harry and his friend Hermoione are invited
by the Weasleys to watch. Harry also wants to find out what is going on this year at
Hogwarts and its two rival schools of magic. He wonders what they have to do with this
competition that hasnt taken place in 100 years.
I think this is a great book because there is always something that is exciting in the
book that never lets you put the book down. I think Mrs. Rowlings writing style is
great and she also uses funny types of words. Out of all four books, this one was the
best.
