This is the eighth
book in a series called The Series of Unfortunate Events.
In this Book the
Baudelaire
siblings, [Violet, Klaus and Sunny] are being chased by an angry mob and
go into the Last Chance General Store. There things only get worse, The
Store Clerk tells them that they’re criminals and that they have killed
their arch nemesis. So they get out of there and hitch a ride to a
hospital. There they uncover some valuable information. But Count Olaf
tells everyone that they are in the building, and then the oldest sister
Violet gets captured by Count Olaf’s henchmen. The ending is very good;
I recommend this book to people who don’t like happy endings.

This is the 8th book in the Series of
Unfortunate Events books. The Baudelaire children are disguised
in a hospital and no one knows who they are. The employees at the
hospital believe a false newspaper article that says the children
tried to kill Count Olaf. The employees are nice to the children at
first but, after reading the article, the employees try to kill the
children. The book tells how the children plan to escape from
the hospital by doing a special operation on Violet. Their plan works
and they escape even though they end up in Count Olaf's
car trunk.
I would recommend this book to boys and girls in
second grade or higher. You need to read the first book in the series
to understand this book.

What if
you and your two siblings seemed as if you were doomed for bad luck? You
had no parents because of a fire in your mansion? And a Count was always
on your tail, all the time, only to get the money out of your bank
account? Well lucky for you this is only happening to the three
Baudelaire's. Violet (the oldest) loves inventing things mostly to get
them out of Count Olaf's clutches. Klaus, (the middle child) has to be
the smartest kid the world because he reads about a million different
interesting books about everything you can think of. And Sunny (the
youngest) is only a baby but she has super sharp teeth that help them
get locked doors opened, she also bites a lot of things. Count Olaf and
the nasty and weird group of his supporters get into disguises (in this
case a doctor and the head of the hospital) that no one but the
Baudelaires can recognize. They meet two other orphans named Duncan and
Isadora Quagmire (that were triplets but one of them died in a fire with
their parents) that found out about their fire and wrote about it in
their journals. When they get torn apart the only thing they know is
that it had to do with a secret V.F.D. They meet the Volunteers Fighting
Disease. They work in a half-finished hospital doing their part of the
V.F.D. They do file work. They find the Snicket file that has one page
(left) that says that there could be a survivor of the Baulelaire's
fire.
Now what will they do
when they are in a closet wondering where their sister is going to get
her head cut off? Will they think of a way to save her? How? Will Olaf
be caught? Will the Baudelaire's be caught first? What's the real
meaning of V.F.D.?
This book was really exciting and factual to read. Everyone HAS to read
all of these books.

This is number eight in
the fantastic series about three orphans who are running from a villain.
This book is about how the orphans try and save their sister from being
operated on when she doesn't have to be! It takes place in a hospital,
where, at first, the children are hiding until the villain, Count Olaf,
finds them and tries to capture them. The villain is trying to capture
the children and steal their enormous fortune. It is so exciting that
you'll just keep reading until your eyes fall out! One thing about this
book is that it's very sad. If you don't like sad books this isn't the
book for you!

The Hostile Hospital is the eighth
book in the series written by Lemony Snicket. In this story the Baudelaire children run
away from the evil Count Olaf who wants to steal their fortune. They travel a long time
and meet some singers who are headed to a hospital. So they join them and go to
Heimlich Hospital. The children are sent to work in the library and come upon some secret
files about their parents. After nearly escaping a fire at the hospital, they find
themselves in the most unlikely place away from the Count. Will the children ever get away
from the evil Count Olaf? Will they ever be safe? I have read all the other books in
this series. I can't wait for more.
