The House at Pooh Corner is about a little bear named Winnie the Pooh. Other characters in the book are Piglet, Eyore, Tigger, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, and Christopher Robin. In this book Pooh goes on many adventures with his friends. One of the adventures is when Pooh finds Tigger in his house and doesn’t know what to do. (This is the first time anyone has seen Tigger, and this is how he became part of the Winnie the Pooh books and movies.) Another event is when there is a terrible storm and Eyore’s house gets washed away.

I recommend this book to people who like Pooh and to people who enjoy reading fantasy fiction books.

In The House at Pooh Corner  Tigger, the very bouncy tiger, was introduced to the reader. As in the first Winnie the Pooh, the book was very funny and exciting. My favorite part was when Rabbit tries to scare the bounce out of Tigger by losing him in the woods, but Rabbit ends up getting himself lost.

If I were rating this book from one to ten, I would give it an 8.5 because House at Pooh Corner was the same writing and ideas, so it wasn’t as fun to read as the first in the series. You don’t need to read the first book to enjoy this story.
