| Title: How I
Survived Being A Girl |
| Author: Wendelin Van Draanen |
| Reviewer:
Alli L. '09 Carolyn is very tomboyish. She has short hair and
doesn't like girls who wear Mary Janes. Now she has to help her mother take care of
the house and her brothers throughout the entire summer and she is not happy about
it. She has to survive completing some very difficult "girl" tasks
while helping her mother. I like this book a lot, but it is strictly a girl book.
The interesting plot makes it fly by and you want to read it over and over again.
