Inkheart
is an interesting adventure story. The main character, Maggie,
lives with her father, Mo. Maggie has no idea where her mother
is, but her father knows perfectly well what happened to her!
Mo has special powers when he reads. He can bring a character
out of a book! When reading Inkheart to his wife one night,
the villain in the story comes out of the book, and his wife
goes into the book! It is as simple as that. No one knows
which chapter or page she went into. It remains a mystery.
So, Mo has to find the evil villain, Capricorn, and read him
back into the book. It is a long, frightening journey. Will
her mother come out of the book when Capricorn goes back in?

Inkheart is
a very exciting book filled with many twists and turns. The
plot of the story was very exciting. It kept you wondering
whether or not Meggie would find her father. Meggie, the main
character, goes on a lot of adventures- from a Villain's Village
to an author's home. I especially enjoyed the ending because
it was filled with bad guys who disappeared! You'll have to
read on to find out if what they destroyed was brought back
to existence. This was a great book, you won't be able to
put it down.

This is a really
exciting story. The author takes you on many twists and turns
throughout the book making you want to always know what is
on the next page.
Inkheart
is about a girl named Meggie and her father, Mo, who can read
characters out of the book and bring them into the real world.
One night, when Meggie is three years old, Mo reads aloud
Inkheart to Meggie's mother and brings out Capricorn, an evil
ruler, Basta, Capricorn's faithful servant, and Dustfinger,
a man who can't be trusted. Here's a twist- as the three characters
come out of the book, Meggie's mother goes in! What is Mo
going to do about Capricorn and the other characters, let
alone Meggie's mother?
