| Are you a Civil War fan? Then this book is
for you. It is about a boy whose uncle is an officer at a jail full of confederate
soldiers. The boy lives in Boston with his mother. He starts writing to one of the
confederate soldiers, who is about his age. He doesn't tell any of his friends because he
thinks they might not want to be his friend anymore. But one night he tries to sneak a way
to the island and that's when the trouble starts. I recommend this book to anyone who
likes daring and exciting books. Summer 2002 |
