James Henry Trotter was a normal kid before he comes to live with his
Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker. He loves to play outside but his mean
Aunts won't let him play with others outside often. One day he hears a
voice from a small man coming from under the bushes. This man gives
him magic crystals that fall to the ground and then strange things
happen. A giant peach emerges from the ground and grows to the size of
a giant house. Living inside of the house James meets lots of new
friends. All of James' friends are insects such as: Grasshopper,
Centipede, Earthworm, Ladybug, Spider. Their adventure takes them a
long way from home.Winter 2004

James lives with his two evil
aunts. One day he finds a seed and he plants it. A few days later it
grows thirteen feet high. The aunts take all of the credit and sell tickets to see
the peach. One day James decides to go into the peach. He finds some bugs that
can talk and they help him roll the peach down the hill that it is on and into the
ocean. James and the bugs live happily ever after. I would recommend this book to
anyone who likes to laugh and have a good time reading books.
