Title:  John James Audubon:  Wildlife Artist (American Conservationist Series)
Author:  Peter Anderson
Reviewer:   Kaye L. '07

I read a biography on John James Audubon. It was a very good book, in my opinion. John was a wonderful artist and he loved the wild. Each day he would go outside and paint or sketch birds that he saw. This book tells about John’s personality and the good and bad things that happened to him. For example: John’s father always wanted his son to be a sailor, but that was not what John wanted to do. On the other hand, when John got older, he married a very nice lady and had a son.

I would recommend this book to whoever likes nature books, facts. and painting or drawing.
