The book I read is called Journey to Jo'burg A
South African Story. It's about two children who live during the
South African apartheid. With their little sister sick, no mother,
and no hospital close by, Naledi and Tiro don't know what to do
until they decide to go look for their mother. On the way they
encounter many things, such as almost getting caught by policemen, and
sneaking into a forbidden orange field! But all and all they still
had a good adventure.I like this book
because it had suspense, action, and good description. I recommend
this book to people who like books with action and that tell you about
different times of history.
