Judy wants to be famous because her parents and her younger brother have been in the newspaper. Judy decide to enter a pet contest with her cat, Mouse. She comes in second, but when the photo is published in the newspaper, Judy is cut out of the picture. No matter what she does, Judy can't get in the newspaper. There are many interesting incidents that occur, and you will find out  what they are like when Judy lends a helping hand.

I think anyone would enjoy reading this book because it does not
drag on.

One of the books I read over the summer is Judy Moody Gets Famous. I like this book a lot because it show that being famous is great but not every body has to know about it all the time. I also like this book because Judy helps a girl named Laura by dressing up the dolls in the play room in the  hospital because Laura has to have her heart taken out and she has to be in the hospital for awhile and every day she would have to play with same old doll and when Judy shows up she steals the dolls and fixes them up and then she sends them back to the hospital. I think that is really nice.

I recommend this book to kids who like adventure.

When Judy goes to school on a boring Thursday, Jessica Finch is being so perfect just because she won the Spelling Bee. Judy wants to get famous when hears that Jessica won the Spelling Bee.

In the newspaper is an ad for the most interesting pet. Judy signs up. She has a cat named Mouse.  Her cat is in third place for being so lazy. While Judy is waiting for the press to take a picture for the paper, Mouse runs out of her arms! Judy tries to catch him but when the picture is taken just her elbow is in the picture.

Later in the story, Judy's friend gets sick and has to go to the hospital. Judy goes to visit him. While at the hospital Judy sees all these broken dolls. It is Judy's dream to become a doctor. She steals the dolls and brings them to her house so she can fix them. When Judy goes back to the hospital she puts the almost new dolls back where she found them. The next day Judy reads an article in the paper that says, "Anonymous person stole the dolls, fixed the dolls, and brought them back to the hospital."

Although she isn't famous, Judy feels good about her act of kindness
