| Reviewer: Justin S. '07 The King’s Swift Rider
is about a boy, Martin Crawford, who sees a man being hunted by the king’s soldiers.
Martin saves the man by tricking the soldiers, and it turns out that the man is Robert the
Bruce. Robert admires Martin’s courage and takes him into his army. Martin refuses to
fight, so he is given the job of page. Martin must have the courage to ride and deliver
the king’s most essential messages. He cannot fail with everyone counting on him.
I recommend this book highly because it is full of
incredible suspense. It is also a very interesting adventure.
