I read the book Lightning Time. It takes
place during the Civil War, and is about a boy who joins up with John
Brown for the raid on Harpers Ferry. He becomes John's personal
telegrapher during the battle. It is a wonderful book with tons of
action! On a scale from one to ten I would rate it an eight. I would
recommend this book to a boy about 11 or 12, who likes adventure.
