This is an extremely exciting book that is about the Gregg family. They love to go hunting. The Gregg's neighbor loves to hunt, too. There is one little problem with the girl from next-door! When she sees red, she points her finger at the red object, and then her finger lights up, and she zaps the red spot, and turns it into something bad! This is exactly what happens to the Gregg family. One day the Gregg family goes out to do their normal routine, which is hunting; and they have a great day of shooting a lot of animals. However, the little girl sees red and zaps the Gregg family. All of a sudden they start to miss the animals that they shoot, which is totally abnormal. But, that's not all that happens to the Gregg family. The next day they turn into ducks! After the Gregg family suffers being ducks for awhile, they change back to normal humans. The next time the little girl sees red, she runs far away from everyone.

This book is about a little 8 year old girl who dislikes hunting, while her next door neighbors are hunting! This young girl gets very angry with them and tries to be polite and ask them to stop but nothing will stop this family from hunting. One day this young girl takes charge, while using her magic finger, and turns the Gregg family into a flock of birds! I wouldn't want to run across this magic finger. Things get worse when she finds out that every time she gets really angry with someone, she turns them into another creature of some kind.

I recommend this book to anybody who loves Roald Dahl and the fantasy of watching a young girl change people into creatures with an angry face. I would rate this book an 8 because it didn't catch my attention as much as some of the other books I have read but it is still a really good book.

The Greggs are hunters who are not careful about  what they shoot.  The girl next door does not like this one bit.  She tries to talk to them, but they don't listen.  Then she gets mad and uses her magic finger to teach them a lesson.  If you want to know what she does, read this book.  I like this book because it's interesting and easy to read and it's about magic.

Magic Finger is about a little girl who hates the Greggs family because all of them hunt. She tries to talk it out with them, but they keep on hunting. This little girl has a special gift. She turns on her magic finger and they all became birds.

The ducks get revenge by taking over their house. The Greggs have to build their own house. To see if they survive read the book.
