Tonino Montana and his large family live in the Italian town
of Caprona. Caprona is the best town to get spells from in world 12A. Caprona has such great spells because it is where the two best spell-houses are.  The two spell houses in Caprona are the House of Montana, and the House of Petrocci. The Montanas and the Petroccis both hate each other. When the two families start to fight everybody goes inside and locks up.

Today Tonino is feeling sad because he has a hard time
learning spells. His father sends the head cat in their house, Benvenuto, to comfort him. Tonino can talk to cats. Tonino goes home and brushes Benvenuto. Benvenuto decides to like Tonino, and regards himself as Tonino's special cat.

Later in the book strange things start to happen in Caprona. The feared "White Devil" seems to have come back. The only way to stop the evil magician is to find the real words to "The Angel Of Caprona". The angel who protects Caprona would protect the town if the people always sang the "Angel of  Caprona" song.

When Tonino is captured after reading a bad magic book he is trapped with a Petrocci girl who is in the same situation. Tonino Montana and Angelica Petrocci must team up together to escape.

When you read the book you will learn about the VERY strange situation they are in without knowing it! You will read about the comical Duke whose  staff thinks he is crazy!

You will love the creative and interesting plot that has
implements  you never would have thought of!!
