Magic Steps is about a Mage, named Sandrilene Fa
Toren, or Sandry, who weaves thread to do magic. While she is visiting
with her great-uncle, Duke Vendris IV, two strange things happen. First
she finds an unusual mage, who dances magic. His name is Pasco. To her
dismay, she learns that since she was the mage that discovered Pasco,
she must be his teacher. The second thing unusual is she encounters a
dark mage who, can create nothingness, shadow magic, who is murdering a
family called the Rokats. She must now teach Pasco and help Duke
Vendris stop the murder.
