| Martin, a mouse, grows up by the
ocean and lives in caves. His father is a great warrior who has a powerful
sword. When he is young his father sets out on a quest, leaving Martin to
defend their home. One day an evil weasel steals his father's sword. Martin meets
many people on his quest to get the sword back. He becomes friends with Rose,
another mouse, and Grum, a mole. This book is part of the Redwall series. You get
into it right away because it is filled with adventure and plenty of sword fights.
And it leaves you ready to read the next book. Spring
