| Meg is the oldest of her three
sisters, Amy, Beth, and Jo. She must decide if she wants to become a lady or keep
being a young girl while she can. When she visits a friend who lives in a very large,
wealthy house, Meg must act like a proper young lady. But she keeps thinking about
playing with her younger sisters in her own smaller home and she is embarrassed to feel
that she is not as ladylike as her friend. I like this book because it is about making
decisions and finding what you really want to do. This book also teaches you how to make a
drawstring bag and strawberry shortcake. Spring 2002 |
