'09 Mangus is accused of being an awful magician
since the people of the village fear him. He convinces the villagers that his magic
is just an allusion and the king decides to let him go. But the king is very
superstitious and still believes that Mangus possesses magical powers. So Mangus is
taken to the king's castle and told that the princess is seeing a ghost. The king
wants Mangus to free her of the ghost. Fabrizo, the faithful apprentice of Mangus,
wanders off in the middle of the night to get water for his master, befriends some people
and finds out more than he should know. If you enjoy fantasy novels, you'll
absolutely LOVE what happens in this book!! I highly recommend that you read it.

| Reviewer: Ilana R. '07 This adventure book is about a servant and a magician. In their
town you are evil if you have magic. The King calls for the magician. He says his daughter
sees ghosts. The magician, Mangus, and his servant, Fabrizio, have to end the Princess of
her terrible vision. Count Scarzon makes most of the decisions for the King. The Count
tells Mangus that he must free the Princess of the ghost in a couple of days, or die.
Can Mangus and Fabrizio accomplish this task?
