I liked The Monster Garden by Vivien Alcock a lot. It is unlike any other book I have ever read. The book is about a girl named Frankie who creates a monster. Luckily the monster is nice and does not harm people, yet, Frankie does not know what to do with the mysterious monster that is growing every day. In this book many exciting things happen and there are a few twists to the book that you would not expect. I would rate this book an 8 because it is a very good book. At times it could have more action. I hope that if you read it, you will enjoy it as much as I did.
