Mrs. Frisby and
the Rats of Nimh is a very interesting story about a widow
mouse and her family. It is time to move to the summer quarters
for Mrs. Frisby and her family of four mice, but this must
be done quickly because the farmers are ready to plow their
land. Soon before they need to move, Timothy gets pneumonia
and cannot be moved. She goes to the doctor, but he cannot
cure Timothy before the time comes to move. Many people try
to help her with the problem. Mrs. Frisby is finally sent
to the rats. These rats are very intelligent. They tell her
about her husband and how he really died, and a story that
she must not tell anyone in her life. She thinks they can
save Timothy and her family, but can they?
I rate this book
a 10, because the story that the rats tell is fascinating.
