Title:  The Mystery of the Bad Luck Curse
Author:  Laura E. Williams and Marcia T. Jones
Reviewer:   Rebecca O.'10

I like this book because it is a book that allows the reader to solve the mystery before the answer is revealed.  I recommend this book because it is a fast and enjoyable story.

This book is about a boy and a girl, Jen and Zeke, who are trying to solve a mystery about a curse. The mystery involves a legend from long ago  when  there was a terrible crime in Mystic, Maine, and now the ghosts of the criminals involved in that crime still haunt the area.  According to the legend, if anyone disturbs the area of the scene of the crime, some families will have lots of bad luck because of the curse. When archeologists start to investigate what actually happened, the crime scene is disturbed and many horrible things start to happen to some families.  Will Jen and Zeke solve the mystery before something really terrible happens?
