The book The Night I Flunked My Field Trip is a really funny book in my opinion. I think when you read this book you will not stop laughing for at least ten minutes.

Now to tell you a little about the book... On the last day that you can bring in a permission slip for the best field trip of the fourth grade, Hank Zipzer forgets the permission slip, again! His grandfather, Papa Pete, rushes to his aid and brings Hank's form to school. When Hank arrives back in class, he hands over his permission slip. He is 30 seconds too late. Will his teacher, Mrs. Aldolf, let him go on the field trip to visit the ship, the Pilgrim Spirit?
