Dear Reader,
I am presenting this note on behalf of Lemony Snicket, summarizing his 12th and possibly most terrible book in his series concerning the Baudelaries. The three siblings are driven by Kit Snicket to the Hotel Denouement, where they will be employed as concierges and flaneurs, words which here mean people who assist hotel guests and who observe others to determine whether they are noble volunteers or villainous villains. What they find surprises them. There is a certain party planned where many of the guests you will recognize as characters from Lemony's previous books. As with the prior stories, further discussion would only reveal the horrors contained within this 12th tale of woe.
